INSPIRED BY JOYA NIDO — A LIVING DIALOGUE BETWEEN ART FORMS

Inspired by the JOYA NIDO work of artist Miriam Slaats, Teresa Juan López and Manel Cardona brought a unique performance to life. In this special rendition, dance, poetry and music merged into one breathing entity — a sensory experience that moved the audience deeply.

Under the warm Spanish sun, an encounter between disciplines unfolded: the rhythm of the body, the resonance of the spoken word and the flow of music met in a natural, almost ritual movement. The performers created an intimate dialogue with Slaats’ work, where the theme of connection — with nature, with one another, and with the inner world — took center stage.

The location became a character in itself: a soulful setting that amplified the energy of the moment and invited the audience not only to observe, but to feel. The result was a performance not merely seen but experienced — a high-level artistic embrace in which JOYA NIDO continued to live on through new forms, new voices and new art-movements.
